Over the past 16 years, Carey has worked with hundreds of independent insurance agencies helping them understand their agency’s value and turn that knowledge into an actionable plan for their future. She prides herself in taking the time to understand an agency’s unique situation and helping them build the future they envision for themselves. 

Carey is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, CEPA and is considered an expert in her field. She has presented to over 5,000 agencies this past year and is the co-host of the podcast Business Refocused which highlights organizations that are innovating and positioning themselves for growth, scale and maximizing their value. 

She is the founder of AgencyFocus, a consulting company providing valuation, perpetuation planning services, acquisition support, financial and compensation analysis, and fractional CFO services to hundreds of independent insurance agencies across the country. Carey is the mother of two and lives in Charleston, SC with her husband Kevin and their dog Hudson.
